With the all the environmental concerns out there today about air pollutants and toner would be one of them because they are carbon based. More and more companies are using recyclable toner. Instead of throwing away the toner that may be left in some cartridges, the toner is recycled and used as new toner. The toner is just as good as new and you would be doing your part to help save the environment.

Remember there is nothing special about toner; one company does not use a special ingredient to make it. What makes toner cartridges so expensive is the packaging and the name brands. It is ok to use staples brand rather than Hewlett Packard, it is the same material. If you are into saving the environment, try the recycled toner it is just as good.
